It aims to provide an understanding of how EO can be leveraged to address various border-related challenges, from detecting illegal crossing and smuggling activities to supporting humanitarian efforts like search and rescue operations. By presenting detailed use cases, identifying operational gaps and suggesting emerging trends and recommendations, the report seeks to guide the implementation of EO technologies for more effective border management.
