At the end of November 2022, Frontex Research and Innovation has launched a research study on High-Altitude Pseudo-Satellites (HAPS), carried out under the auspices of the EU Innovation Hub for Internal Security. The Innovation Hub is a cross-sectorial EU platform which ensures collaboration between internal security innovation actors, formed by the EU JHA Agencies, European Commission (DG Home and DG JRC), the Council General Secretariat and the EU Counter Terrorism Coordinator.
