Our work does not end at Europe’s borders. It’s crucial to work with neighbours as whatever happens outside the EU has a direct impact on our safety and security. Cooperation between Frontex and 32 African countries in the AFIC community is a key element in fighting cross-border crime and preventing security threats affecting African countries and the EU.
