The Public Service Principles and Code of Good Administrative Behaviour is an internal regulatory decision signed by the Executive Director on 6 July 2026. Comprising Annex 1 (Public Service Principles) and Annex 2 (Code of Good Administrative Behaviour), the framework brings interactions with the public closer to Article 41 of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights to ensure fair, impartial, and timely treatment. For Frontex staff, it acts as an interpretive guide translating Articles 11 and 12 of the Staff Regulations into workplace behaviors. Non-statutory personnel—including non-statutory Standing Corps, SNEs, private contractors, and trainees—should endeavor to align with these principles to the maximum extent possible.
