The Results of Research & Innovation Activities 2023 report provides an overview of finalised activities, as well as outlines ongoing initiatives that will be completed soon and presented in the 2024 report. The main results of the research and innovation activities conducted contribute to the development of EBCG capability priorities, as identified in the Capability Roadmap, specifically: 1) Gradually adopted emerging innovative technologies; 2) Comprehensive Pan-European network-enabled multipurpose surveillance; 3) Seamlessly integrated and interoperable EBCG and 4) Improved efficiency and security of Border Crossing Points.
